Since the first commercially available global positioning system (GPS) product in 1999, this navigational tool has come a long way. We have stand alone GPS tools, as well as GPS and mapping apps available at our fingertips.
For truck drivers, we need specialized GPS that can help us maneuver the roads and highways efficiently and safely taking into account the size and weight of the vehicles we drive.

Customer Reviews
Some notable positive trucker reviews on Amazon:
I am extremely happy with my purchase been using it for several weeks I place all my stops for the day in it and off I go. It has a progress indicator as to how long it will take to next stop. Unfortunately, it is not a device listed on Naviextras.com so updates cannot be done using their toolbox. The FM modulation is a great feature some of our equipment does not have auxiliary jacks available. I stream I heart radio and can even access google maps if needed. Sometimes I will run google simultaneously on my phone for street names or just to see another route option. If I go off route using google maps as a choice the system addresses the change and keeps up. Would like to get any updates to the software made available.
Got this as a replacement as my other gps is acting up again and I really don’t need to get lost while I have clients on the bus. This has the same system on it as my other one has so I know how to work it. The only issues that I have found so far are . 1st The gps mount. Where I drive multiple vehicles the mount is hard to remove from the window due to the sticky stuff on it that I had to get a different holder. 2nd. At times I don’t know why it does this but the screen goes black and it shows the speed, how far, fast , when in feet to turn. I found that I have to hit power off and the regular screen shows up. I have not use the camera yet as I am mainly interested in the gps part. Basically satisfied with the unit.
Some negative reviews on Amazon:
I use this gps in my bobtail truck for delivering propane and I do 2 different townships that I needed the gps for and I can type in the address for the next customers house and it can be on the same street as the stop I would be currently at and it will try to send me 10 to 20 minutes out of the way. Then if I’m traveling from one township to another that is fairly close by but just enough im not familiar with the unit attempts to send me an hour out of the way to make one huge circle. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this would definitely recommend a more expensive gps.
I’m a professional truck driver so I ordered this product to help me be able to do my job better the price was great but I could not set the GPS. But I couldn’t get it to work and I haven’t been able to return it it sucks spending your money on something that you can’t use and you can’t return.
With an average rating of 2.4 stars out of 5, you may want to consider other GPS options for truckers.
