I’ve been with Pitt Ohio for 22yrs, and if you want a great career and family oriented place to work then this is the place. Home every day, good pay and second to none with the insurance package.
The Corporate philosophy and the Owner were fantastic. Good pay and excellent benefits…
Most of the commenters complained about the equipment and vehicles being old and needing upgrades. And a few complained about people management, and how seniority is deemed more valuable than hard work.
Could use some new eguipment, getting all kinds of new trailers but the trucks are getting a lot of miles on them and braking down.
Communication is lacking. There isn’t much opportunity for advancement unless you are a driver. There are a lot of expectations on being perfect in every way.
